Activities

Since, its establishment it involved in different social activities in the field of education, environment, agriculture, health etc. The following past activities have done by EHDC:

Current Activities (2014)

• Conducted two days skill Development Training for the college level students on the occasion of Labor Day
• Conducted various immunization campaign like Hepatitis  and Japanese Encephalitis (J.E) on May 14^th 2014 at EHDC central office
• Participated in rally on the occasion of world environment day
• Supported on National Paddy Day Program
•  Provide legal counseling to the victims of social issues
• Provides Advocacy for the rights of Health and Nutrition to the needy people
• Participated in various welfare activities organized by different social organization

 Previous Activities

• Awareness and training campaign in Nawalparashi district  in 2053  & 2054 B.S
• Association with ENPHO (Environmental and Public health Organization) for air quality monitoring of Kathmandu valley time to time.
• Participation in the trainings and seminars organized by Kathmandu, 2020.
• Participation on the conservation camp organized by the ECCA time to time
• Organize free-health services for helpless children and health camp in various occasions.
• Making free legal counseling for women, children and others.
• Organize talk programs and public hearing against corruptions, good governance etc.
• Regular running service of DOTS & Immunization etc. along with first-aid service in Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
• Organize art competition among helpless-children and secondary level school
• Participation in the program & training’s organize by pro-public for the good governance, public hearing etc. time to time.
•  Two Teachers Training camps (TTC) conducted in April 1997 at Nawalparasi District in Gaidakot village Development center
• Volunteer group formation
• Prepare trained manpower to send them to different organizations

• Participated by mass conference organized by Kathmandu 2020 camping/vision

• EHDC has been coordinated Kathmandu 2020 AIR quality sector
• EHDC has conducted free health camps for the orphan and helpless people
• EHDC members have participated and conducted various  types of health related trainings
• EHDC HAS provided free legal advice to the poor people suffering from misery
• EHDC represented in the various national legal seminars
• EHDC kept own immunization day; the venue was Ankur Secondary School at Battisputali, Kathmandu, Nepal
• EHDC has sent delegates to Nagarkot on the occasion of New Millennium, organized by National Youth Forum (GYM), at Battasydada, on Dec 28^th ,1999 to Jan 3^rd 2000 in which EHDC presented papers on ‘Global Environment’ and ‘Global Peace and Harmony’
• EHDC has participated in the vitamins A Volunteers Training Program organized by National Vitamin A Program, chaitra,2056
• EHDC is working jointly along with LEADERS Nepal in Air pollution campaign
• Adventure times and family hike conducted time to time which are mostly related to conservation
• Bird watching program launched to college student to connect student with nature
• School college health program conducted time to time
